The Twisters Took Off To Taos

June 10-13, 2010

It was wild. It was wet. It was a rafting adventure to remember. In fact it was historical  since for the first time in club rafting history -- nobody fell out of the boat!  That was the story Friday June 11 when Lubbock Twisters rafted the box of the Rio Grande in Taos with Far Flung Adventures. Last winter's heavy snows made for great water  and challenging rapids. We managed to climb to William's lake and there was shopping for everyone. It was a terrific weekend. Especially since accommodations were at the Taos vacation home of a Twister member!
